About the film 🎞️
Set in the English countryside during the early 19th century, Pride & Prejudice follows Elizabeth Bennet, one of five sisters whose mother is determined to find them suitable husbands.
When the wealthy and seemingly arrogant Mr Darcy enters Elizabeth’s life, their first impressions of one another are far from favourable. Elizabeth finds him proud and disagreeable, while Darcy struggles to understand his growing feelings for a woman whose family and social standing challenge the expectations of his world.
As misunderstandings, family scandals and romantic complications unfold, both Elizabeth and Darcy must confront their own pride, prejudices and mistaken assumptions.
Featuring stunning scenery, a beautiful musical score and memorable performances, Pride & Prejudice is a warm, funny and deeply romantic adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel.
Whether you are a devoted Austen fan or discovering the story for the first time, this is the perfect film to enjoy outdoors with friends, family or someone special.
